【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthreemethodsfordeterminingtheindentationhardnessofflexiblecellularmaterials:methodA(indentationhardnessindex),whichgivesasingleindentationmeasurementforlaboratorytestpurposes;methodB(indentationhardnesscharacteristics),whichprovidesinformationabouttheshapeofthehardnessindentationcurve;methodC(indentationhardnesscheck),whichisaquickproceduresuitableforqualitycontroltesting.Themethodsareapplicableonlytolatex,urethanefoamandPVCfoamoftheopencelltype.NOTE—Theindentationhardnessofflexiblecellularmaterialsisameasureoftheirload-bearingproperties.Themethodsspecifiedcanbeusedfortestingfinishedarticlesandforthecharacterizationofbulkmaterial.Theresultsobtainedbythesemethodsrelateonlytothetestconditionsspecifiedandcannot,ingeneral,beuseddirectlyfordesignpurposes.
