【摘要】:Thisclassificationsystemcoversbothdevelopingpropertydesignationsandspecificationsforthermoplasticcompositionsconsistingofvinylidenefluoride(VDF)polymersmodifiedwithotherfluoromonomersandproperty-enhancingadditives.Theotherfluoromonomersincludeoneormoreofthefollowing:hexafluoropropylene(HFP),tetrafluoroethylene(TFE),andchlorotrifluoroethylene(CTFE).Theadditivesarethosethatimproveitsflameresistance,processing,orphysicalproperties.However,theseadditivesarenotnormallyconsideredtobereinforcing.Thisclassificationsystemcoversthermoplasticcompositionssuppliedinpelletorpowderforms.Adesignationorspecificationappliesonlytothevirginpolymerspreparedfromvinylidenefluoride(50weight%)withoneormoreofthefollowingcomonomers:hexafluoropropylene,tetrafluoroethylene,andchlorotrifluoroethylene.Somepolymerscontainadditivestoenhancecertainproperties.ThissystemconstitutesalinecalloutasameansofdesignatingandspecifyingpropertiesofVDF-basedcopolymers.Atleastfourofthedesignatedpropertiesareusedtodefineapolymer'sspecification.Specificationcriteriafrominternationaldocumentscanbeusediftheircriteriamatchdesignationpropertiescurrentlyusedbythisclassificationsystem.Thisclassificationsystemisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Themanufacturerofthevirginresinshallestablishthedesignationofaresinbasedonthepropertyvaluecriteriainthisclassificationsystem.Theminimumspecificationpropertiesareestablishedbythisclassificationsystem.Additionalspecificationproperties,basedonthedesignationpropertiescited,canbeestablishedbytheresinsupplierandcustomer.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.7ThepropertytestsareintendedtoprovideinformationforspecificationsofmodifiedVDF-copolymercompositions.Itisnotthepurposeofthisclassificationsystemtoprovideengineeringdatafordesignpurposes.Note1AlthoughthevalueslistedinTable1,Table2,Table3,Table4,Table5arenecessarytoincludetherangeofpropertiesavailableinexistingmaterials,theyarenottobeinterpretedasimplyingthateverypossiblecombinationofthepropertiesexistsorcanbeobtained.Itispossibleforauserordesigner,using,tocalloutpropertyrelationshipsthatarephysicallyimpossibletooccurinacopolymermadeusingcurrenttechnology.Note2Manyofthesepolymersexhibitpolymorphism.Thetypeandextentofcrystallinestructurewillvarywiththethermomechanicalhistoryofthesample.Propertiesvarybasedonthetechniqueusedtopreparethespecimens.Testmethodsusedinthisclassificationsystemcanresultintheincidentalproductionofhazardousmaterials.ModifiedVDFpolymerfluoroplasticsmeltbetween90and182?C(194and359?F)andarethermallystableuptoabout350?;C(662?F),orsomewhathigher,dependingonthecomposition.(Evolutionofcorrosive,colorless,andtoxichydrogenfluoridecanoccurundercertainconditions.)Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeWarninginandSectionforspecifichazardsstatements.Note3Many,butnotallofthecodesandspecificationsfoundinthisclassificationsystemarealsoinISO12086-1andISO12086-2.
