【摘要】:Densityisafundamentalphysicalpropertythatcanbeusedinconjunctionwithotherpropertiestocharacterizeboththelightandheavyfractionsofpetroleumandpetroleumproducts.Determinationofthedensityorrelativedensityofpetroleumanditsproductsisnecessaryfortheconversionofmeasuredvolumestovolumesatthestandardtemperatureof15x00B0;C.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedensityorrelativedensityofpetroleumdistillatesandviscousoilsthatcanbehandledinanormalfashionasliquidsattesttemperaturesbetween15and35176;C.Itsapplicationisrestrictedtoliquidswithvaporpressuresbelow600mmHg(80kPa)andviscositiesbelowabout15000cSt(mm2/s)atthetemperatureoftest.1.2Thistestmethodshouldnotbeappliedtosamplessodarkincolorthattheabsenceofairbubblesinthesamplecellcannotbeestablishedwithcertainty.ForthedeterminationofdensityincrudeoilsamplesuseTestMethodD5002.1.3Theacceptedunitsofmeasurefordensityaregramspermillilitreorkilogramspercubicmetre.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see7.4,7.5,and9.1.

【摘要】:Thespecializeduseoftheelectroplatingprocessforelectroformingresultsinthemanufactureoftoolsandproductsthatareuniqueandoftenimpossibletomakeeconomicallybytraditionalmethodsoffabrication.Currentapplicationsofnickelelectroforminginclude:textileprintingscreens;componentsofrocketthrustchambers,nozzles,andmotorcases;moldsanddiesformakingautomotivearm-restsandinstrumentpanels;stampersformakingphonographrecords,video-discs,andaudiocompactdiscs;meshproductsformakingporousbatteryelectrodes,filters,andrazorscreens;andopticalparts,bellows,andradarwaveguides(1-3).Copperisextensivelyusedforelectroformingthinfoilfortheprintedcircuitindustry.Copperfoilisformedcontinuouslybyelectrodepositionontorotatingdrums.Copperisoftenusedasabackingmaterialforelectroformednickelshellsandinotherapplicationswhereitshighthermalandelectricalconductivitiesarerequired.Othermetalsincludinggoldareelectroformedonasmallerscale.Electroformingisusedwheneverthedifficultyandcostofproducingtheobjectbymechanicalmeansisunusuallyhigh;unusualmechanicalandphysicalpropertiesarerequiredinthefinishedpiece;extremelyclosedimensionaltolerancesmustbeheldoninternaldimensionsandonsurfacesofirregularcontour;veryfinereproductionofdetailandcomplexcombinationsofsurfacefinisharerequired;andthepartcannotbemadebyotheravailablemethods.1.1Thisguidecoverselectroformingpracticeanddescribestheprocessingofmandrels,thedesignofelectroformedarticles,andtheuseofcopperandnickelelectroplatingsolutionsforelectroforming.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
