【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheclassification,materialsofconstruction,workmanship,physicalrequirements,andmethodsoftestingglass-fiber-reinforcedpolyestercompositewallandceilingpanelsintendedforuseinlightconstructionandsemi-structuralapplications.Supplementaryinformationonchemicalresistance,impactresistance,andinstallationpracticeareprovidedinAppendixX1.Theclassificationofthesecompositepanelsintoclassesbasedonrelativeresponsetoalaboratorytestshallnotbeconsideredafire-hazardclassification.Laboratoryflammabilitytests(TestMethodsE84andD1929)applicabletothisspecificationshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorconditions.However,resultsmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Theintentofthisspecificationistodefinetheclass,grade,andgenerallaminatepropertiesofthecompositewallandceilinglinerpanelsinordertoensureaqualityproductwhichwillperformintheintendedapplication.Thisspecificationisnotintendedtorestrictorlimittechnologicalchangesaffectingperformancewhenchangesareagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandmanufacturer.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseinTablesandFigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
