【摘要】:ThispracticeallowsthecollectionofarepresentativesampleofLPGthatmaycontaintracevolatilecomponentssuchasmethane,nitrogen,andethane.SamplingbyPracticeD1265mayresultinasmall,butpredictablelossoftheselightercomponents.PracticeD1265issuitableforcollectingsamplesforroutinespecificationtesting,asthesmalllossoflightcomponentsisnotsignificantunderSpecificationD1835specificationrequirements.PracticeD3700isrecommendedwheneverhighlyaccuratedeterminationoflightcomponentsisrequired.Forexample,compositiondeterminedonsamplescollectedaccordingtoPracticeD3700maybeusedtoestablishproductvalueofNGLmixtures(seeAppendixX1).1.1Thispracticecoverstheequipmentandproceduresforobtainingarepresentativesampleofspecificationliquefiedpetroleumgas(LPG),suchasspecifiedinSpecificationD1835,GPA2140,andcomparableinternationalstandards.Itmayalsobeusedforothernaturalgasliquid(NGL)productsthatarenormallysinglephase(NGLmix,fieldbutane,andsoforth),definedinotherindustryspecificationsorcontractualagreements.1.2Thispracticeisnotintendedfornon-specificationproductsthatcontainsignificantquantitiesofundissolvedgases(N2,CO2),freewaterorotherseparatedphases,suchasraworunprocessedgas/liquidsmixturesandrelatedmaterials.Thesameequipmentcanbeusedforthesepurposes,butadditionalprecautionsaregenerallyneededtoobtainrepresentativesamplesofmulti-phaseproducts(seeAppendixX1).1.3Thispracticeincludesrecommendationsforthelocationofasamplepointinalineorvessel.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoensurethatthesamplingpointislocatedsoastoobtainarepresentativesample.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
