【摘要】:ThisclassificationsystemcoversonlyABSmaterialsandABSalloyssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Someofthesecompositionsmayalsobesuitableforcompressionmolding.RecycleABSandalloyswillbeaddressedinaseparatestandard.Thisclassificationsystemisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials,butonlyasameansofcallingoutmaterialstobeusedinthemanufactureofparts.Materialsaretobeselectedbypersonnelwithexpertiseintheplasticsfieldwheretheeconomics,theenvironmenttobeencountered,theinherentpropertiesofthematerials,thepartdesign,thepartperformancerequired,andthemanufacturingprocesstobeemployedallenterintotheselection.Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesewillbeagreeduponbetweentheuserandthesupplierbyusingthesuffixesgiveninSection5.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThisclassificationsystemandISO2580aretechnicallyequivalentforthosetestscontainedinbothstandards.
