【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaPROCESSforaMANUFACTURERtoanalyse,specify,design,VERIFYandVALIDATEUSABILITY,asitrelatestoBASICSAFETYandESSENTIALPERFORMANCEofMEDICALELECTRICALEQUIPMENT,hereafterreferredtoasMEEQUIPMENT.ThisUSABILITYENGINEERINGPROCESSassessesandmitigatesRISKScausedbyUSABILITYproblemsassociatedwithCORRECTUSEandUSEERRORS,i.e.,NORMALUSE.ItcanbeusedtoidentifybutdoesnotassessormitigateRISKSassociatedwithABNORMALUSE.IftheUSABILITYENGINEERINGPROCESSdetailedinthiscollateralstandardhasbeencompliedwithandtheacceptancecriteriadocumentedintheUSABILITYVALIDATIONplanhavebeenmet(see5.9ofIEC62366:2007),thentheRESIDUALRISKS,asdefinedinISO14971,associatedwithUSABILITYofMEEQUIPMENTarepresumedtobeacceptable,unlessthereisOBJECTIVEEVIDENCEtothecontrary(see4.1.2ofIEC62366:2007).
